Some time ago when flying a Mustang II we discussed the noise problem with them at Oshkosh and after purchasing a intercom, and two headsets [not ANR] we were happy campers. I did purhase a ANR for the Lancair from them and it works fine even at cruise. I believe they designed some around a noisy AT-6. They tell me Sigtronics is also USA made.
