Yes, I found this to be the case, and had to re-position the battery into
the engine compartment.
This was a reasonably expensive exercise.
The result was excellent in terms of balance.
The battery was also downsized in type, size, and weight from 9 kilos to 4.5
kilos.
More for me to play with.

PS.
Scott, changed the nose gear door actuator as your (and I had) suggested,
and works a treat.
Also discovered in the retract tests that the nose wheel was not retracting
quite fully into the well. This resulted in the wheel resting on the rear of
the nose gear door, pushing it down about 5mm. This I guess had the effect
of always having hydraulic pressure leaking onto the nose gear door
actuator, and thus the seal eventually blew.
After adjustment with the new actuator it snaps in beautifully now.
Have a spare now as well.
