I have no header tank and my = electic boost pump is under my seat with its suction strainer so the = position is a natural. I have a maximum of 12" of straight run from the = pump to the transducer and possibly 18" after the transducer before it = goes through the firewall and into the gascolator. Why would you put the tranducer in a hot area and also have to run = longer wiring to get to the instrument readout.? I presume this is not = a Continental engine with flow back to the fuel tanks. I also recorded accuracies of ~1%, certainly within the possible = accuracy of filling the tanks up as far as possible.
