I've been using an aluminum forward bulkhead with the light fiberglass spinner.

After hundreds of hours, some wear damage was becoming apparent at the mating contact surface.

I corrected this by applying some beads of silicone rubber onto the bulkhead with a grooved tool like a flooring cement trowel.

Now, we're up to 1335 hrs with no more trouble.
