I hate to admit this but I had an Incident in 2004 that cost me some embarassment and the insurance company about $6,000.
My renewal premium with the same company was a little less than the premium for the prior year. I am a 750 hr pilot flying a high performance TAA aircraft at age 74.

Point - making the claim had no adverse effect on future premium or availability of coverage.
