That's correct. No such guide or seat change was necessary in aircraft engines since they've always used the proper seats. It kinda brought the cars up to the standard of the airplanes! <vbg>

The only thing I would add and George may have data to support or resolve this...."No Lead" fuel required valve rotators and hardened valve seats to prevent burnt valves and seats in auto engines. 1975 was the year.
