Further, I can't recall seeing any data plate that was not aluminum. (Experimental and Certified). I suppose one could drill a hole and pop-rivet it on, but I am not clear on aluminum as not a suitable material. Is there an FAR on this? I have the option of doing stainless steel, but it cost a whole lot more. Please advise, because I think most all of us are wondering.
