I allow plenty of time for the oil to drain. It drains well and makes very little mess. Of course I run the engine to temperature first. I have a quick drain installed too, but don't remember the part number. Bought it for my engine, from the FBO in Bend. It works great. Can anyone make a recommendation on a quick drain retrofit kit for the drain plug? Also, is there any remote oil filter kit or other option to solve the problem with removing the upside down oil filter and dumping oil all over the back of the engine and firewall?
