He is wanting to be helpful in gathering knowledge to establish the exhibit. Joe tells me its been 50 years since he flew the 104 and all he remembers was wait till you get 480 kts (or the end of the runway) and pull pure vertical to 40,000 ft. Then he'd push over and accel to Mach 2. ...... grunt.. snort... If anyone has experience flying or crew chiefing for the F-104, please give Joe a shout. I'm sure he would greatly appreciate the call and commradery.
