I even put some money down on a Glasair II kit long ago, and never went through with it. While I have no intention of selling the 182 (I really like flying behind glass), I do have a craving for a project and a "go fast" airplane. While, I'd love to have a Legacy RG, my mission profile and cost profile probably is better suited to the FG. I've done the basic web searches and seen the only two sites that I know of that are FG specific. Is it really true that there are only two of you out there that are building one? If anyone has more web based info or sites specific to the FG, please point me at them. Also, I'd be curious of the basic costs. If I remember right, most people use the 3X rule. Take the kit price and times it by 3 to get a basic-to-modest completed plane. I've also lived, ate, and slept the lancairlegacy.com site (can't ya see how the bug has bitten :) ). Anyway, I'll return this to it's regularly scheduled programming, if there are other FG builders out there, I'd like to get to know ya. I do have one last question. What are people expecting to pay for insurance for an FG? I'm a 500hr, IR SEL pilot as a baseline. Thanks in advance, Alan
