The engine is absolutely beautiful.  I do notice a "built-up" aluminum
fitting assembly on the front of the engine (oil supply for the turbos?).  I
usually like to avoid aluminum fittings on the engine altogether, but at
least avoid aluminum fittings that are built away from the block by
extensions, nipples, etc.  Reason is that aluminum is not very fatigue
resistant and pipe threads are excellent stress concentrations.  The further
the fitting extends the more likely it is to experience a vibration
resonance that could crack the fitting.  Just makes me nervous.
