That isn't an urban legend about the linear polyurethane toxicity. You are cross linking it with crazy glue essentially, an isocyanurate, Stuff best left in the can, not in your lungs. But a filter mask will work well (if you haven't used the same filter cannisters for the last 15 years). Do be sure to use the correct filters for organic solvents. Also, a good HVLP paint sprayer DRASTICALLY reduces the amount of overspray. Dan Newland
