Where? What material? """ We did several interesting things in Ted Noel's IVP. We used the J-shaped tabs from baggage latches mounted to 3-bid els around the roof line to hook the cargo net which has a bungee cord sewn around its perimeter. In the floor of the aft baggage compartment we installed a line of hooks made from mirror hangers (flat, J-shaped stainless steel stampings) onto a split length of piano hinge that folds down flush with the baggage compartment floor when the cargo net isn't being used. To install the carge net you lift the hinge segments to access the hooks and they capture the bottom edge of the net. Another thing we did was to install tie downs for bungees into the floor of baggage compartment in several places... we used cable anchors (U-bolts) that had about 5/16" between the legs. To install them we drilled holes in the baggage compartment floor, inserted the U-bolts into the holes and then secured them with nylock nuts from inside the gear well... we used pencils to provide the opening between the floor and the u-bolt as we tightened the nuts and to hold them in position while we potted them in. After the nuts were installed we cut off the excess threaded portion of the legs, put a mound of flox over the nuts and then covered the assembly with a 2-bid square to hold them in position after the pencils were removed. I think we installed about 6 of these in the floor, 2 either side of the compartment just behind the aft pressure bulkhead, another pair on the forward face of the gear well (butt cheeks) and the last pair about centered on the baggage door opening. They only stick up about 3/8", they're nicely rounded so they can't damage luggage, and they're close enough to the edges so there's just enough room to get the bungee hooks into them.
