The plexiglass spacer is not flush with the light housing, but protrudes above the housing and has aerodynamic features similar to a winglet and effects the wingtip vortex. The wingtip on all (or most) T-37Bs is a hoerner type design. I have considered installing this type of plexiglass spacer on my KIS TR-1 (has raised wingtips) but have not completed my evaluation of the merits of doing so. But thought I would share my thoughts on the matter and solicit any advantages and disadvantages of installing this device on different wing tip designs and aeroplanes. Jer ===== Jerry L.
