A Method That Requires No DC
Voltage
I ran in to the same problem when connecting my
Sirius radio to my Garmin audio panel. The Garmin input is 600 ohms,
the Sirius output is 125 ohms.
Allied Electronics sells a very small impedance
matching transformer .465 x .410 x.310 inches. Part # 967-2533 about
$ 16.00 each. Two needed for stereo.
I used a piece of a Radio Shack pre-drilled
PC board to mount and connect the audio wires to the leads coming out of
the transformers.
