Sorry, I forgot the photos!
Im am in the fun proces of installing the V-stab on top of a MKII tail.
The mounting flanges required a lot of trimming, but that was fairly
easy. The flanges are considerably longer (to the rear) than the H-stab
and some creative fibreglass work is required to reshape this area so
the elevators will fit nicely.
My immediate thought is to simply cut away the area that is not flat (in
a vertical manner) and make a fairly large inspection plate that covers
the lot. Some of the flange has to be cut away anyway to gain access to
the control horn.
What did you fellas do and do you have a photo to share???
