Scott,

Yes the Lancair is a handflying handfull.  I am still on my second 100 hours.  The TruTrak is a must have for any distance.  Absolutly required IFR.  However, with any great plane it requires both skill and respect.  Sometimes 50/50 but many time it shifts either way.
