 Thanks for the excellent detailed response.  Pictures are always welcome.
 They show exactly what I needed to know, where to drill holes for the wiring.
I especially like the idea of making wire enclosures using rain guttering as a
mold (I'm on my way to Home Depot as soon as I hit send).  Appreciate the
