 Thanks for the suggestions, and the pictures.  I really like the conduit idea
and will probably use that method.  The pictures were especially helpful in
visualizing your explanation.  And yes, I have Bob's book (time to read it
again) and lurk daily on the A/E list.  Thanks to you and all the others that
replied with helpful hints on wiring my ES.  What a great resource this list
