Your reference to "certified" engines hits a particular sore spot with me in
regards to your Turbine engines.  Lancair's sells their Walter 601EX as a
601E from the "Walter factory" as Factory new and Certified.  That fact of
the matter is that this engine is an "experimental" engine that has been
changed from the original 601E.  No mention of this fact has ever been
portrayed from Lancair.  I would suggest full disclosure on Lancair's part
to it's customers is a better and less legally contigous route to follow.  I
would ask what kind of testing data is available from Walter on the 601EX in
 regards to reliability and TBO?

I would also suggest that an email forum is not a place to be hashing out
differences between individuals and companies.  It is far too easy to type
something into an email that would never be attempted to be said face to
 face. Just my opinion.
