The purge valve at the flow divider is a good idea especailly if you can pipe it back to the header tank, less distance.  I considered it for my bird but I had a couple of problems.  1. I would have had to run it all the way back to one of the wing tanks. 2. sometimes the tanks are very full so it might overflow.  I know hind sight is 20/20 but not having a header tank has made working on the bird a lot easier.

Thanks, Ray.  Some interesting suggestions.  I'm gonna find a place for the boost pump on the cool side of the firewall... after talking to the guru at Airflow Performance about the temperature at which gas boils.

Also, one suggestion I got today sent me a p-hoto of a purge valve that Airflow Performance offers, that works on the flow divider, to get rid of all the vapor before tring an injectged start.  I might look at that.
