Notably around the door, there are areas on my ES that have to be built up to form an outside corner. To do this the micro is pretty thick, maybe 1/4 inch, and with it being around the door opening I'm worried about it being bumped and breaking. I assume this is a good place to lay a 1-BID over the top? Very difficult to get BID to form around a sharp outside corner, though. I'm tempted to lay a 1-BID over just one side, hanging over the edge and then sanding it back afterward. That would be a LOT less effort and I'm think it will give good protection to the corner.
