   Glider "zig zag" tape did wonders for my Glasair III.  I was having trouble
having enough "nose up" elevator to flare properly.  I applied it about three
inches forward of the horizontal- elevator hinge line and I then had enough
elevator power to hold the nose off of the ground after tough down.  Prior to
that it would band down immediately upon the mains touching.
