My solution:

1.Everything foward: throtle, prop, mixture
2. Boost pump off
3. crank until you see fuel pressure
4. boost pump on to prime
5. Throtle 1/2 " prop foward, mixture lean
6  crank until engine catches
7 mixture to full rich

Hot start is much the same

1. everything foward  throtle, prop, mixture
2. boost pump off
3. crank until the engine catches
4  throtle back to about 1500 RPM
5. boost pum will sometimes help smooth out the engine after start

Try it and let us know if it works.

I did have the air in the fuel problem until I replace the boost pump (bad s= eal)

Good luck
