I mounted mine on the right side of the firewall. I have a long engine mount and had lots of room for the pump. Saved lots of wire and tubing. I can service the reservoir from my oil filler door and also check fluid level.

What is the current preferred location for mounting the hydraulic pump? Is
it still just behind the copilot seat?

What has everyone done about fitting the rear floorboards around the pump?
