Lots of good answers, here's mine.
I've been flying my LNC2 (an early 235) for over ten years. At the factory's
suggestion, I installed their bob-weight prior to first flight. I also moved
the connection of the push-rod to the elevator control horn so as to shorten
the lever arm by about an inch from the original design.
I'm very comfortable with my airplane in pitch, though I've not flown a LNC2
without the bob-weight so can't make a comparison. I especially like the
feel of the stick force-per-G and I attribute it to the bob-weight.
