Just as a reminder the annual Labor Day Fly-In is approaching quickly. We have all sorts of things scheduled and several deadlines coming up.  We are offering Ground School and Recurrency Training for those that
have been informed by your insurance company that this is a requirement.
Ground School is scheduled for Friday, September 3rd from 9am - 5pm at
the Comfort Suites.  To sign up visit www.lancairtraining.com, which
will take you to the High Performance Aircraft site.  Here you will find
a registration page to fill out.  If you have questions about the
training program, please contact David Hickman at (727)793-9302.  Saturday morning is the annual Golf Scramble at Juniper Golf & Country
Club.  The tee time is set for 9:15am.  The cost is $40 to walk and $54
with a cart.  YOU MUST SIGN UP a head of time and PRE-PAY.  This is
non-refundable and Lancair is not responsible for this fee.  The Country
Club has lost money in the past and has asked that these new guidelines
be put in place.  Please sign up by August 27th as we will release any
extra slots on that day.  You can sign up at Lancair and we will take
care of communicating with the Country Club.  Your credit card will be
charged when you sign up.

We have a group rate at the Comfort Inn & Suites at a rate of $89.00 for
a room with 2 queen beds.  They have extend their deadline to August
27th.  When you call in please tell them you are with the Lancair Fly-In
to get the discounted rate.   There number is 541-504-8900.

And finally if you will let us know if you are planning on attend and
when you are arriving so we can let the catering service know.  Mountain
High Oxygen does a cook out on Friday night at Lancair and we need to
