I've just received my Garmin GDL 49 Data Link.  Does anyone have any ideas
on where the 18-3/4" antenna might go?

I'm thinking it might fit inside the vertical stabilzer with the Comm
Antenna but then it very inaccessible.

Can it be mounted more horizontally?  Maybe above the rear access panel?
