After a 7 year gestation period, at 7am this morning my Lancair IV-P S/N LIV-438 took to the air for the first maiden flight in the capable hands of Charlie Kohler, here in Trenton, Tennesse. First flight was 20 minutes and no major problems were encountered. Special thanks to DL Simmons for his patience, Brad Simmons for a first class paint job and off course Charlie for his wisdom.
