Gerard has had trouble getting the prop to change pitch. I watched a friend
in an RV-6 with the same problem on initial start-up. The problem is that
on the 1st run it is quite difficult to force the air out of the steel line
that carries the oil from the guv. to the prop hub. This fellow simply
cracked one of the nuts on the line (I think at the prop end), some air
escaped and then everything worked fine.  Sincerely Fred N9BF (Don't fly
