However, these things should not be used either in tight situations requiring sharps turns, or to PUSH back the aircraft. I only use it to tow forward, using wide radius turns. If you don't have the room to use, then you have to manually push/pull the aircraft until you can hook up. Best regards Dom A suggestion for moving around an airplane hooked up to a tow bar connected to an ATV. If the ATV does not have 4 wheel steering, which I think most if not all do not have, build a hitch on the front of the vehicle to use whenever one wants to push the plane backward into tight spots. It is much easier and less likely to damage the nose strut, particularly if it has turning stops. Hello = Peter,

Your point is taken re = ATV’s.

However, these things should not = be used either in tight situations requiring sharps turns, or to PUSH back the aircraft.

I only use it to tow forward, = using wide radius turns. If you don’t have the room to use, then you have to = manually push/pull the aircraft until you can hook = up.

A suggestion for moving around an airplane = hooked up to a tow bar connected to an ATV.  If the ATV does = not have 4 wheel steering, which I think most if not all do not have, build = a hitch on the front of the vehicle to use whenever one wants to push the = plane backward into tight spots.  It is much easier and less likely = to damage the nose strut, particularly if it has turning = stops.
