They used = the Lancair frame and Jim customized the seat back and bottom. The = seats had a weak reclining mechanism with aluminum teeth that fractured = easily. I understand that this reclining mechanism has been = discontinued (for good reason) and there are no reclining mechanisms = available for this seat. I was wondering if anyone has found a suitable reclining mechanism for = the Lancair seats.
