G'day Harry,
Got your tow bar pictures and I hope they explain a bit for you.
The Towbar is about 2 metres in length.
At one end there is a solid steel rod which has a hole drilled in it to
insert the locking pin from the Lancair tow bar.
At the other is a marine hook, which was inserted into a grove cut into
the black tow bar by hacksaw.
The marine hook was then welded into place.
The rear of the ATV was modified by welding a piece of metal plate which
was drilled with a large h9ole to accommodate the marine hook.
The welder put a small pin to lift the hook lip up to disconnect,
although it is too small.
I hope this helps.
Regards
Dom Crain
