Scotty, YES. Also take a look at the nose gear/engine mount area for looseness or damage. You might want to look at the tire to see if there is any scalloping at the outside edges. If so, this could be the cause. Is the nose wheel tire properly inflated? If the tire is causing the shimmy, replace it. Flat spots or scalloping could feel like shimmy at roll out speeds. You do not want to wait until the shimmy gets worse. A poorly serviced strut can be fixed. One with the internal mechanism trashed is trash.
