I've owned a Beech Sierra for 12 years and have suffered with that problem continuously. I've spent a couple of thousands of bucks over the years trying to find the leak and fix it. It still slings the same amount of oil as it did over a thousand hours ago. I think it'll do that till its dying day. I've talked with other IO 360 owners and hear it's a common symptom and rarely amenable to correction. The damn things sure run forever though, so I've just learned to live with it and buy lots of oil.
