Angier,
I sanded a 1/4" worth of the canopy plexiglass which was enough for all
stages, micro, primer and paint, then laid the tape for each stage where
required. The final paint tape line was slightly beyond the sanded area in
places because the edge of the sanding line wasn't perfectly 1/4" all
around. 11 years and not a single flake. I used PPG Durathane.
