As per the manual, I'll repeat this taping procedure during priming. But for final paint I plan to use 3M Scotch Plastic Tape #471 which has a thickness of .0055. My concern is that when I sand the plexiglas to this final tape line before paint, I may scratch or otherwise mar the edge of this tape and not get a perfect paint/plexiglas line. Any words of wisdom here would be appreciated. Also, how do you think epoxy or paint would adhere to plexiglas which has not been sanded. In other words, if I sand to the tape line before priming but do not sand to the final tape line for paint, will the paint on smooth plexiglas eventually flake off? All the prime and paint products will be PPG. Angier Ames >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML homepage: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
