I have flown the "low speed" approach into LAL for the last 7 years in my
IVP without difficulty.  It is not nearly as hairy as OSH.

[gee, I must hit LAL at the wrong times... at last at OSH
there are two runways each with two or three landing markers,
at LAL there are two markers on one runway... it gets real
intesting when trafic from the race piles into the lake along
with normal traffic and the only runway shuts down.. -Rob ]
