This is the only reason that I have chosen to enter the AirVenture Cup Dash - I feel more comfortable approaching OSH at race speeds rather than taking the higher 120 Knot altitude and falling in behind two twins trying to test VMC. Practice slow flight and turns for 30 minutes at a time. Get the numbers down cold. Use flaps and gear if it helps. Practice this and you will feel much more comfortable when flying to OSH. If you are driving, go like hell until near OSH. Then, just accept the ticket and find a parking spot. I hate to fly slow...
