We have a baggage door kit available for the Lancair IV
and ES. It includes the remotely actuated release ( from the main cabin door
jamb ) and the internal latches. The baggage door is opened and held open with a
gas strut. The system can be viewed on our web site and the complete system
including, latches, cable, release, gas strut and mounting brackets costs
$375.00.
