If I had to do so repairs on the wing skins which in a general sense are almost non-structural since the spar takes the load (yes I know it has to prevent torque), it probably wouldn't be wise to use carbon tape over glass laminate or visa versa. But when you have the joining of two structures edge on, the stress is distributed differently. But you are correct to watch it when you mix materials.
