I suppose we are dealing with composits.
If the glue is good enough for the carbon, (the stiffer, stronger material), it'll probably not have any problem with other combinations. Calculating loads and stresses becomes virtually impossible but testing takes up the slack. I've been testing mine for nearly 1000 hours now, very agressively at times.
Still, when I had to make a structural repair to some cracks near the tail, I used all glass. Mixing materials in a structure really gives me the willies.
