I would have that engine re-built by Monte as a TSIO-550 w/8.5:1 compression ratios - - and have Monte set it up. He knows HOW to do that. Frankly he is the only builder in the U.S. that knew enough to know that he had to measure the internal cylinder pressures in order to get it "right". He had me come up to his shop with our data acquisition equipment and install internal cylinder pressure transducers while he ran the first high compression TSIO-550 so he could get the fuel flow and timing correct.
