Larry, et al,

<<<Don't bite on every single tip that get's mentioned as a "speed" item!  One item mentioned recently from a second hand vendor  (cowl and exhaust pipes) spoke of several knots speed advantage while the plane actually took 5th place (or dead last stated another way) in the Airventure Cup.  If indeed the plane went 10 kts faster than before the mods I'm amazed that it could fly above stall speed before these dramatic improvements :)        >>>>

Righto! Although, I think it was 6th place (still last).

Yep, you can see it down at the end of the line. Hmmm, 2 360's beat by a 320, then Mark and yourself, and the last time we'll have to fly against the turbo-charged Special.  I recently tried to tickle out more info from the cowl developer and the response was that the molds are still available.

<<<< the trim tab on the right wing or left may be irrelevant.  I can laterally trim my plane with 4 gallons of fuel (or 24 lbs) when solo.  Me thinks trim gear totals less than two lbs. and I like looking at it on the left on my before takeoff checklist.  >>>>>>

Yep.  During some testing, I found that a passenger in the right seat allowed the plane to fly wings level.  Without the passenger, a 4 gallon wing fuel discrepency trimmed out the same way.  With an internal servo controlled spring bias trim, I never look out the window - it's scary sometimes.

<<<<<<I use a header tank and am in the minority.  If you want more wing fuel you do NOT have to add wing extensions.  The outer bay can be converted to end up with about 21 gal in each wing.  42 gallons is alot of fuel>>>>>>

Me too on the header.  Even though our wings are "overbuilt", I would question unintentional aerobatics and turbulence penetration (since we always operate in the yellow airspeed band) with the added weight of fuel in the outer bay, but especially in tip extensions????

<<<<<<Fastest LNC2 in the Western Hemisphere.>>>>>>

Yada, Yada, Yada.  You have excessively loaded down your plane with 40 unnecessary cubic inches.  The real matches occur betwixt 320s.
