Thanks for all the information on Induction Filters. I'm
thinking I will go with a K&N filter E-2872, It's round 13.25"
in diameter and 3.125" tall. I'm making the induction plenum now and 95% sure it will fit my logic tell me the larger the surface area on this filter the better the flow. Can
anyone punch holes in this thinking. My next project is to
install the EGT probes. My intention is to run LOP however
I was told there in California they have an additive or more of
an additive in avgas that makes it burn much hotter or
differently and can give faulty EGT readings has anyone
heard the same and if true would it require moving the EGT
probes to get a accurate reading. Any ideas would be
appreciated
