K&N # E-2865 is the round filter I use. I molded my plenum to fit this filter only. Thanks, Walter > > > From: "Walter Dodson" Subject: Fw: K&N air filter for Lancair IV-P Date: Mon, 18 Jun 2001 20:29:45 -0700 I think this will add a bit to the K&N Filter thread. Rick answered my question about delta p and how they rate their filters. I found this discussion facinating. I wish we had an easy way to use a larger filter in the IV-P plenum. I do think using the E-2865 filter will stop the blinking alt air door light but, of course, we won't know untill testing. Obviously, these machines are demanding and anything we can do to make things easier will help. Pat Brunner let me fly his IV-P around Tehachapi Saturday and I was thrilled to finally get a little feel for the ship. What a kick that was! In fact our 14"x4" round filter that flows
