any insight into the mounting of the bearing block for the flap torque tube?

I installed mine per the plans and it turned out just fine.  Line up a string from one side to the other, and just dremel out a slot in the side of the console until the string lies completley straight.  Then bolt on the outside supports and put the torque tubes in there and bolt them all together.  That'll give u an exact position for the bearing block, and it'll make sure there's no unnecessary friction on it.  Also, put the long bolts upside down in the bottom half of the bearing block first, then bolt the bottom half onto the console.  Otherwise it is nearly impossible to install or inspect the nuts and washers on the long bolts, because they're underneath the bearing block and nearly touching the belly.  Good luck!
