If the BSFC is less than about 0.6 and the timing more than about 22 degrees, you will have some potential for some serious problems at takeoff power. I would arbitrarily lower the redline CHT for that engine down from 460F (TCM stock) to about 420F. You buy about 4 octane points by doing that. Regards, George
