that, your little 75 watt bulbs would have to put out 250,000 CP. I find that
hard to believe.

One
of the Lancair builders have tested the HID light and compared it to two of my
experimental MR16 bulbs. They say that there is no difference, although
the HID run cool. For that cooling the cost difference is about
$500. For lighting value they are hard to beat.
