I was going to suggest two 12 volt bulbs in series also.&nbsp; I am running at12 volts so I don't have that problem.&nbsp; There are tons of halogen bulbs outthere at 12 volts. As far as loss of redundancy the only reason you have two is to solve a problem.&nbsp;&nbsp; Are two bulbs less reliable than one.&nbsp; Well yes slightly but my experence with landing lights has been only fair no mater what the voltage.&nbsp;

Two bulbs are a good, easy and inexpensive solution in my opinion.
